What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from initial concept through production launch.
• Partner with Design to translate creative vision into manufacturable, high-quality products.
• Manage relationships with domestic and international manufacturing partners.
• Oversee development strategy including prototyping, engineering refinement, and material selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on timelines, cost targets, and business objectives.
• Mentor and support the growth of the Product Development team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Development or Engineering within the furniture and home furnishings industry.
• Strong technical understanding of furniture construction, upholstery, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience managing complex product development initiatives from concept through commercialization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Deep experience working with domestic and international manufacturing partners.
• Must be able to work in the San Francisco office 3-5 days per week.
