What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using PHP and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on system design.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP development.
• Strong command of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be located in or able to work hybrid in Cape Town, South Africa

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role.
• Experience with Drupal CMS.
