Location: Must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote).

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end Actimize operations across client environments.
• Develop, configure, and customize software features to meet enterprise standards.
• Design full-stack automation for troubleshooting and daily batch processes.
• Monitor server performance, databases, and real-time streams to ensure system resiliency.
• Resolve operational issues including batch failures, data feed errors, and application server problems.
• Coordinate with R&D, PS groups, and customer support to ensure adherence to SLAs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development or production support engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and batch scripting.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with web application development using JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and architectural patterns for scalable applications.
