What you will do

• Define target-state cloud and hybrid infrastructure architecture with clear standards, blueprints, and reference architectures.
• Own and evolve the cloud architecture roadmap, including migration, modernization, and governance.
• Translate business and security requirements into architecture artifacts such as ARDs.
• Review and approve infrastructure architecture submissions from MSPs to ensure conformance with enterprise standards.
• Establish and enforce governance guardrails covering security, identity, network segmentation, and cost management.
• Lead the adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and repeatable deployment approaches.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• 5+ years in senior or lead architecture roles delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Deep hands-on expertise in GCP, with strong knowledge of Azure and AWS.
• Proven ability to define standards, reference architectures, and governance guardrails.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code, automation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Must be based in the US to access corporate benefits and meet regional requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost-governance practices.
• Knowledge of observability, performance, and operational resilience patterns.
• Expertise in cloud-native patterns: microservices, containers, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
• Formal cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP Architect-level).
• Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF, or similar governance frameworks.
