What you will do

• Design and develop scalable software components across the full stack, from backend APIs to mobile and web applications.
• Collaborate with product, design, and medical teams to define and deliver new features.
• Drive technical excellence in architecture, code quality, and security, adhering to healthcare regulations like ISO 62304.
• Contribute to a platform powering multiple regulated digital health products.
• Mentor other developers and raise the technical bar across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in a modern language such as Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or PHP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and containerization (Kubernetes).
• Solid experience with Linux system administration and managing bare cloud instances.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in Germany to comply with operational requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
• Background in regulated industries, healthcare, or security-conscious environments.
• Experience working in product-centric teams with non-technical stakeholders.
