What you will do
- Implement, test, and deploy high-SLA software services capable of handling millions of daily requests.
- Refactor existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and code reuse.
- Contribute to design reviews and participate in rigorous peer code reviews.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for new features and core products.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with a focus on rapid iteration and problem-solving.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and incident response.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in professional software development.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
- Strong experience with SQL and server-side MVC frameworks like Django, .NET, or Spring.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to build for scale and maintain high system reliability.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with shipping or postal carrier integrations.
- Familiarity with SOAP, gRPC, or messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
