What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices for cart and checkout systems.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to solve complex challenges in pricing, taxes, and fees.
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code using Golang and Python.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including deployment and on-call support.
• Optimize system performance and latency to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to architectural design processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Golang, Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong experience in designing and maintaining backend REST API services.
• Proficiency with SQL databases, specifically Postgres.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems like Kafka.
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical bottlenecks using data.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to meet hybrid office requirements.
