What you will do

• Review and redline various commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Lead and independently negotiate legal terms with clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Manage contractual data and enforce process within internal IT systems.
• Collaborate with Legal Operations Managers to improve playbooks, templates, and legal processes.
• Assess and implement the use of AI within the contract management lifecycle.
• Support strategic sales, partnerships, and acquisition documentation reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a Law degree with 3+ years of experience in contracts/legal.
• Proven experience in sales and procurement contract environments from pre-sales to closeout.
• Ability to lead contract engagements and provide advisory to executive-level colleagues.
• Proficiency with enterprise software tools like Jira, HubSpot, and Google Sheets.
• English: C1 proficiency (excellent written and verbal communication).

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, cloud computing, and third-party software resale.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, and intellectual property law.
• Familiarity with Atlassian products and services.
• Experience with US Federal or State regulatory requirements.
