What you will do

• Develop and own a discrete event simulation framework for the entire battery manufacturing process.
• Integrate 0D models, engineering correlations, and operational rules into factory-level simulations.
• Perform bottleneck analysis, capacity studies, and line balancing to identify throughput limitations.
• Run what-if scenario studies for equipment sizing, logistics strategies, and layout changes.
• Assess new equipment technologies and process innovations for their impact on production performance.
• Communicate actionable recommendations based on simulation results to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in discrete event simulation or manufacturing process simulation.
• Experience in battery, semiconductor, or other complex high-volume industrial environments.
• Proficiency in industrial simulation tools such as FlexSim, Siemens Plant Simulation, AnyLogic, Simio, or Arena.
• Strong knowledge of Python, data analysis, and model integration practices.
• Proficiency in English is required.
