What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and optimize Terraform modules and pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and policy enforcement.
• Automate deployments and operational workflows using Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Execute discovery, assessment, and migration of IaaS, PaaS, and containerized workloads.
• Collaborate with architects to create Cloud Design Documents (CDDs), runbooks, and implementation plans.
• Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, CIS/NIST) and optimize environments for cost and performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 8–10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, with 5+ years in cloud design and automation.
• Strong expertise with Terraform for IaC, including modules, workspaces, and state management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking, compute, storage, and security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience executing data center or application migrations to cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, or Terraform Associate.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience developing policy-as-code with Sentinel or OPA/Rego.
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus/Grafana.
