TL;DR
Business Systems Analyst (Insurance): Analyzing business and technology needs for external-facing websites, consent management, privacy compliance, automation, and testing initiatives with an accent on requirements documentation, data governance, and application support. Focus on translating business needs into user stories, validating solutions through testing and user acceptance activities, and supporting access management, production readiness, and SAFe Agile delivery.
Location: Hybrid, with primary office locations in Jacksonville, Florida or Birmingham, Alabama

What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria using SAFe Agile and BDD/Gherkin methodologies.
- Document workflows, process flows, data mappings, system interactions, and functional designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, and project teams to validate solutions and communicate status, risks, and issues.
- Support testing, defect management, user acceptance testing, change management, deployment, and production readiness.
- Support application administration, user access, role and permissions management, privacy, consent management, compliance, and data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in business systems analysis or related IT or business roles.
- Working knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, SDLC, SAFe Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment from Jacksonville, Florida or Birmingham, Alabama.

- Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting external-facing digital platforms, privacy and compliance initiatives, or application administration.
