Lead Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the St. Petersburg, Florida corporate office; United States

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders and application development teams to implement technology solutions for cash management.
• Create detailed functional and non-functional business requirements covering processes, rules, data, and security.
• Gather and interpret information from databases, interviews, and other sources to make recommendations.
• Document business processes, translate concepts between technical and business audiences, and support project planning.
• Validate test cases for business functionality and support testing of web applications and file-based batch processing.
• Help develop estimates, implementation plans, schedules, reports, prototypes, and project documentation; occasionally lead small to medium projects.

Requirements

• Work in the St. Petersburg, Florida corporate office three days per week under the hybrid work model.
• More than five years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience is highly preferred; the posting also lists three to six years of general experience.
• Financial services experience and knowledge of sweep accounts, high-yield savings accounts, and interest accrual processing are strongly preferred.
• Experience with requirements gathering, risk management, issue tracking, change management, SDLC methodologies, and software testing is required.
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and querying relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer and Information Science, or high school education as listed in the posting.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI to assist with daily job functions.
• Experience with Mainframe, HP NonStop, SIS Back Office, SSRS, Tableau, or reporting and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid development methodologies.
