What you will do

• Design, upgrade, and troubleshoot in-house and third-party manufacturing systems including CNC lasers, parts handlers, and CVD reactors.
• Optimize control logic to enhance equipment performance and minimize operator interaction time.
• Collaborate with end users to translate feature requests into actionable software designs and data-driven models.
• Train technicians on correct procedures and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Source system components from software vendors and integrate them into the production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (Master's preferred) with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with C++/C, PLC programming, and fieldbus protocols (Modbus, RS232, MQTT).
• Experience with industrial automation environments, SCADA, and Motion Control.
• Understanding of version control (Git) and SQL basics.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant).
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
