Network Engineer (Government)

What you will do

• Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Research and implement network security solutions and vulnerability mitigation.
• Performance-tune networks using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Develop and update disaster recovery plans and network documentation.
• Lead projects for secure network enhancements and collaborate with security teams.
• Manage incidents and changes to meet operational SLAs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network operations or engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco technologies, VLANs, subnets, and VPN solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in the DC Metro Area.
