What you will do

• Define clear technical requirements with customers and stakeholders to leverage the AI operations platform.
• Translate business needs into technical approaches, designs, and detailed execution plans.
• Lead cross-functional execution teams while maintaining high-impact individual contributions.
• Design and automate complex data pipelines and algorithms within cloud and microservices architectures.
• Guide the development of ML models for diverse data types including image, video, text, and geospatial data.
• Perform mission-critical fieldwork and interface directly with customers at their work sites.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Expertise in Python and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Scala.
• Experience delivering complex technical solutions in production environments using Agile and CI/CD.
• Must be a US citizen and eligible for Secret (or above) US security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and horizontally scaled architectures.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience building AI agents and automated workflows.
• Expertise with multi-spectral imagery, sonar, or hardware telemetry data.
• An active Secret US security clearance.
