What you will do

• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor a small IT/support team while setting clear operational KPIs.
• Partner with security teams to implement and audit CMMC and NIST compliance controls.
• Drive automation for onboarding, hardware provisioning, and routine maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships and IT budgets to ensure scalable tooling.
• Provide hands-on technical support and strategy for internal infrastructure.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Must be a US person (US citizen, national, or Green Card holder).
• Proficiency in managing Linux servers, Windows endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) and Zero-Trust architecture.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks and VPNs.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business outcomes for executives.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
• CISSP, SecurityX, or similar technical leadership certifications.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes (K8s) and Linux containers.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance frameworks.
