What you will do

• Drive the design and architecture of new product features for platform software.
• Write and own the implementation of code that interacts directly with hardware and chips.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally support customers in the field.
• Debug complex issues within embedded systems and hardware abstraction layers.

Requirements

• Must be based in Budapest, Hungary.
• 3+ years of strong industry experience in software engineering.
• Fluency in C/C++ programming.
• Extensive background in algorithms and software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, or Network Processors.
• Experience with hardware abstraction layers and embedded systems debugging.

Nice to have

• Experience in Network Systems Software development.
• Proficiency in Python.
