TL;DR

ServiceNow Architect (Public Sector): Leading the technical design and execution of enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions for a high-profile government client with an accent on FedRAMP compliance, CSDM alignment, and platform governance. Focus on hands-on development of custom applications, complex integrations, and ensuring system scalability and security within a regulated environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite 5 days a week in Upper Arlington/Columbus, Ohio.

Salary: $115,080–$218,520 (varies by location).

What you will do

  • Define technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with CSDM and industry best practices.
  • Design and develop custom scoped applications, business rules, script includes, and UI actions using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to meet FedRAMP and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Lead integrations with third-party systems using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Establish development standards and conduct code reviews to ensure platform health and performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into high-level design documents.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Must work onsite 5 days a week in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
  • 5+ years of deep technical experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow development tools.
  • Proven track record of working within FedRAMP or similarly regulated government cloud environments.
  • Required Certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM or ITOM), and ITIL v4 Foundations.

Nice to have

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Master Architect (CMA).
  • Security+ or similar cybersecurity certification.
