TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (AI): Building and evolving the reliable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure for an AI-native design platform with an accent on Kubernetes, CI/CD optimization, and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on improving developer productivity, strengthening observability, and driving operational excellence across cloud environments.

Location: Must be based in Berlin, Germany (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Improve CI/CD reliability and developer productivity by reducing pipeline flakiness.
  • Strengthen observability by building actionable dashboards, alerts, and SLOs.
  • Manage and evolve the AWS EKS environment for scalable and safe deployments.
  • Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using Pulumi and TypeScript.
  • Enhance infrastructure security, access management, and secrets handling.
  • Optimize infrastructure costs by identifying drivers and improving visibility.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Berlin or willing to work from the office.
  • At least 5 years of production experience with Kubernetes on AWS (EKS).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions.
  • Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of observability tools including metrics, logging, and tracing.
  • Understanding of security best practices, IAM, and secrets management.
