What you will do

• Architect and evolve a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and define long-term technical direction.
• Own uptime, SLAs, and incident management practices while leading post-incident reviews.
• Define the monitoring, alerting, and observability strategy for the platform.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) maturity and governance.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability to enable engineering teams.
• Drive cost optimization and performance improvements across the cloud platform.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in AWS and cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven track record of owning complex, production-grade systems.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms at scale.
• Background with high-availability SaaS products.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
• Experience mentoring engineers and shaping technical practices.
