What you will do
- Coordinate across CMS and state-level stakeholders to align on goals, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Lead discovery and scoping activities to translate unclear policy needs into structured product plans.
- Define product strategy, vision, and success metrics while balancing federal guidance with state implementation realities.
- Facilitate cross-functional ceremonies to maintain alignment and execution momentum across distributed teams.
- Partner with government teams to build long-term digital delivery capabilities within public-sector organizations.
- Navigate bureaucratic environments to identify practical implementation pathways while managing compliance constraints.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 7–10+ years of experience in product management with exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to define product strategy and translate ambiguous problems into structured roadmaps.
- Strong experience in lean or agile product development, including discovery and MVP-driven approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in government, regulated industries, or public-benefit technology is strongly preferred.
