TL;DR
Technical Customer Support Specialist (Web Hosting): Providing multi-channel technical assistance for web hosting services with an accent on WordPress, Linux administration, and DNS management. Focus on resolving complex technical issues via tickets, chat, and phone within a 24/7 shift-based environment.
Location: Must be based in the UK. Role is either fully remote (UK-based) or hybrid from offices in Hemel Hempstead, Worcester, or Reading. Initial training is full-time in the Worcester office.

What you will do
- Provide exceptional support to customers via email, tickets, live chat, and telephone.
- Handle service monitoring alerts to ensure platform stability.
- Assist internal teams with technical tasks, system administration, and service provisioning.
- Maintain high standards of service for group brands including Catalyst2, UKDedicated, and GURU.
- Contribute to a responsible workplace culture by incorporating sustainable practices.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
- Proven experience working with WordPress.
- Strong understanding of internet technologies including Domains, DNS, and SMTP.
- Experience administrating Linux using CLI.
- Proficiency with web hosting tools such as cPanel, WHM, or Plesk.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work a 4-on-4-off 12-hour shift pattern.
Nice to have
- Experience with CloudLinux or Windows Server/IIS administration.
- Knowledge of PHP or Magento administration.
