Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain flexible DevOps infrastructure for a data collection, storage, analytics, and visualization platform.
• Define, document, and promote deployment and system-management best practices with Product, Engineering, TechComms, and Support.
• Help clients and early adopters deploy the platform stack.
• Improve the manageability and supportability of deployments and help define product features that simplify operations.
• Propose, plan, and implement DevOps solutions while supporting both existing products and the new analytics platform.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with the DevOps and Engineering teams to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies and container platforms such as Docker.
• Linux systems administration experience, with an understanding of networking and TCP/IP.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, and systems and network security best practices.
