TL;DR
Cloud Performance Engineer (AWS/Terraform): Designing and implementing high-performance cloud and hybrid cloud solutions for latency-sensitive trading workloads with an accent on networking, infrastructure automation, and distributed systems monitoring. Focus on building orchestration tooling, backend performance-metrics systems, and continuously monitoring latency across hybrid workloads.

What you will do
- Design and implement cloud and hybrid cloud architectures for latency-sensitive trading workloads.
- Build and maintain systems that continuously monitor latency across distributed hybrid workloads.
- Develop orchestration tooling for provisioning cloud resources, networking configurations, and server-side processes.
- Build backend systems for collecting performance metrics and tools for querying the data.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, software developers, Linux engineers, and network engineers to optimize performance end to end.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, VPC, Direct Connect, IAM, networking, and compute services.
- Experience using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools to manage cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Cisco devices, and networking resources.
- Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP, routing protocols, Linux systems, and the Linux network stack.
- Strong Bash scripting and Python programming skills, preferably with serverless cloud orchestration.
- Experience with AI coding agents, security-first implementation, independent problem-solving, and cross-team communication.
Nice to have
- Experience building data pipelines for centralized structured data.
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching hardware or Google Cloud Platform.
- Programming experience in Go or C++.
- Experience with Linux kernel bypass techniques such as DPDK.
