What you will do

• Drive timely collection of outstanding debts to ensure optimal cash flow.
• Monitor aged receivables and resolve payment delays, disputes, and account queries.
• Perform credit limit reviews and manage high-risk or escalated accounts to mitigate risk.
• Handle accurate allocation of customer payments, daily reconciliations, and complex invoicing processes.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and analyze debtors reports to identify non-payment trends.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and support business continuity.

Requirements

• Matric with accounting (essential) and a BCom Degree
• 5–7 years of experience in credit control, specifically with complex or high-value portfolios.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365) and customer portals.
• Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
