What you will do

• Perform grid-quality checks using Elspec analyzers and FFT signal evaluation to ensure compliance.
• Execute field-installation of PQ-Recorders and evaluate remote or external PQ-Data sources.
• Diagnose main converter and turbine control behavior within the electrical system context.
• Identify causes of electrical disturbances and recommend corrective actions to maintain grid stability.
• Create standardized methodologies to support project engineering and R&D activities.
• Provide expert support during grid code testing and the handover process to customers and grid operators.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in grid code compliance, power quality analysis, or grid integration.
• Knowledge of grid requirements (e.g., FRT, GFM), turbine and park control systems, and converters.
• Experience with power quality measurement tools such as Elspec and FFT analysis.
• English: C1 (Fluent) written and spoken required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Porto, Portugal.
