Head of Network Optimization (Telecom)

What you will do

• Establish and lead the Network Optimization function and team.
• Monitor network performance metrics, KPIs, and trends to identify bottlenecks and prevent customer impact.
• Lead resolution of complex network incidents and major service outages across multiple core network domains.
• Own root cause analysis and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Define operational procedures, recovery plans, vendor management processes, and service governance.
• Oversee deployment, integration, operational acceptance, traffic management, and optimization of core network elements and software upgrades.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of telecommunications experience focused on mobile core network design, implementation, optimization, or operations.
• Strong understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, IP technologies, MVNO architectures, and roaming.
• Hands-on experience with SIGTRAN, Diameter, SCTP, GTP, MAP, CAMEL, and SIP.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions, virtualization, network monitoring, observability, automation, scripting, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
