Salary: $92,310.40 - $125,985.60

What you will do
- Design, develop, debug, and validate embedded firmware for HDD storage devices.
- Analyze hardware and firmware functionality using emulators, logic analyzers, and other specialized tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, systems) to define requirements and architecture.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers to foster technical growth and best practices.
- Optimize firmware for scalability, efficiency, and overall system performance.
- Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, and product planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ with strong debugging and optimization skills.
- Expertise in storage device architecture (HDD, SSD) and protocols (SATA, SAS, NVMe).
- Ability to work on-site at the Longmont, CO facility (Monday-Friday).
- Must have valid US work authorization (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application in intelligent storage.
- Familiarity with cloud storage systems and distributed storage architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Agile development models.
