What you will do

• Develop and test embedded firmware for implantable cardiac medical devices.
• Troubleshoot software issues using both off-the-shelf and custom-built tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various engineering disciplines.
• Apply industry standards and SDLC processes to ensure high-quality engineering applications.
• Document software issues and hardware function interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in Mounds View, MN.
• Willingness to travel less than 10% for project collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded software development in C/C++.
• Ability to interpret data sheets and interface specifications for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in technical specification and report writing.
• Knowledge of test automation, verification, and medical device software design.
