What you will do

• Define enterprise-grade AI platform architecture, including orchestration layers, LLM integration patterns, and RAG pipelines.
• Establish architectural standards, guardrails, and reference designs for engineering teams building AI workloads.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for AI components, frameworks, and cloud services.
• Embed regulatory requirements (SOX, SOC 2, PCI, PII) into architectural designs in collaboration with Security and Legal teams.
• Assess LLM providers and model hosting patterns using tools like AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to engineering teams implementing AI services and production applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 8–10+ years of software/platform engineering experience, with substantial depth in AI/ML system architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, KMS).
• Hands-on experience deploying production AI systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Advanced understanding of secure design principles and compliance frameworks for regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
