What you will do

• Review test requisition forms and clinical notes to support WGS analysis.
• Perform case analysis using the Emedgene platform to identify relevant variants.
• Select variants based on the proband’s phenotype and request confirmatory testing when necessary.
• Communicate findings effectively during cross-team huddles.
• Participate in cross-training for WGS variant curations or clinical indication (HPO) as needed.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Masters in Genetic Counseling, MD, or PhD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) variant curation guidelines.
• Expertise in concepts of clinical medicine, genetics, genomics, and molecular biology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to participate in occasional weekend rotations.
