What you will do

• Perform in-depth analytical analysis of NGS sequencing data to evaluate performance metrics.
• Validate and verify computational algorithms within NGS analysis pipelines.
• Support NGS panel design activities and quality considerations.
• Conduct end-to-end validation of pipelines to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
• Document analytical methods and validation studies in technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including assay development and quality groups.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Computer Science, or related field (or M.S. with 3+ years of experience).
• Hands-on experience with NGS data analysis and sequencing performance metrics.
• Experience validating computational algorithms or bioinformatics pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of clinical genomics applications like NIPT or cancer genomics.
• Familiarity with pharmacogenomics (PGx) and complex variant analysis.
• Exposure to rare disease genomics and germline variant analysis.
