Location: Based in London, UK. Remote applications are not considered. Hybrid work model (3 days in office).

What you will do

• Partner with research and technical staff to define hiring priorities and anticipate future talent needs.
• Proactively identify and cultivate exceptional AI/ML research talent across industry, academia, and emerging labs.
• Influence hiring decisions, leveling, and compensation strategy using market insights and candidate signals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor during candidate evaluation and closing, calibrating for research excellence and organizational fit.
• Collaborate with sourcing partners to execute complex searches in rapidly evolving technical domains.

Requirements

• Significant experience recruiting within highly technical or specialized environments (e.g., ML/AI, distributed systems, infrastructure).
• Deep interest in AI research and the ability to engage with global research communities.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical searches from early mapping through to closing.
• Experience navigating high-stakes negotiations with senior technical or research candidates.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments with evolving role definitions.
