What you will do

• Perform 3D CAD-based layout design for integration of propulsion system components and piping within constrained spaces.
• Collaborate with Structure, Thermal, GNC, Avionics, and Operation teams to ensure a consistent system design.
• Propose practical applications for materials, components, and manufacturing processes through trade-off studies.
• Lead solutions for technical conflicts across sub-system and system levels through multidisciplinary discussions.
• Support manufacturing, procurement, hardware assembly, integration, testing, and launch operations.
• Create and maintain sub-system requirement and design specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D CAD-based layout design.
• Experience in fluid system design and designing for manufacturability, assembly, and testing.
• English: Working-level proficiency required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technical domains.
• Proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership within a team environment.

Nice to have

• Business-level communication skills in Japanese.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis methods.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid systems and pressure drop analysis software.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, stress analysis, and fabrication processes.
