TL;DR

Senior Finance Business Partner (SaaS): Partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to drive growth and profitability with an accent on cloud economics, unit economics, and ROI analysis. Focus on managing Microsoft Azure spend, optimizing software margins, and building rigorous financial models to support product roadmap decisions.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, and Oklahoma).

Salary: $155,000–$172,000 base salary + variable component.

What you will do

  • Act as the primary finance partner to Product, Engineering, and Technology leadership.
  • Lead financial evaluation of new product introductions and platform investments.
  • Develop business cases including pricing models, cost structures, and payback analysis.
  • Own financial oversight of Microsoft Azure spend and cloud cost optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud consumption drivers to improve software gross margins.
  • Create executive-ready reporting on financial performance, risks, and investment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics.
  • 9–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Extensive experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams in a SaaS or cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud economics, specifically Microsoft Azure.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
