TL;DR

Senior Technology Manager (Automotive): Defining and owning the enterprise technology strategy for Signal and Power Distribution across the vehicle portfolio with an accent on low-voltage power architecture, systems integration, and hardware-software alignment. Focus on leading executive-level strategic initiatives, managing complex technology roadmaps, and driving cross-functional organizational commitment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Milford or Warren, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Define and lead the enterprise strategy for low-voltage power architecture and signal I/O technology.
  • Build and govern technology roadmaps aligned to cost, energy, mass, and vehicle program timing.
  • Lead executive reviews with VP-level stakeholders to drive alignment and organizational commitment.
  • Serve as the enterprise owner for core low-voltage power architecture artifacts and energy allocation baselines.
  • Lead competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify strategic opportunities and reduce risk.
  • Manage and develop a team of technology managers to enable high-velocity execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of engineering and technical leadership experience with progression to senior roles.
  • Deep expertise in low voltage electrical architecture, power distribution, or vehicle network technologies.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing technology strategy with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior executive stakeholders on complex decisions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in engineering or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience owning technology roadmaps for automotive electrical architecture across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with SDV architecture, Ethernet-based networking, and next-gen power management.
  • Experience with energy budgeting and capital allocation frameworks.
