What you will do

• Own and drive the architecture of key components in the messaging pipeline from ingestion to delivery.
• Lead a team of engineers building and scaling highly-available services across multiple messaging channels.
• Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Go.
• Collaborate with product, deliverability, and compliance teams to expand messaging capabilities.
• Mentor and grow engineers while driving best practices in system design and code quality.
• Integrate AI systems and workflows to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with strong backend and distributed systems design skills.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture and AWS infrastructure.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dublin, Ireland.
• Experience or interest in applying AI to engineering workflows.
