What you will do

• Design and develop automated evidence collection systems and microservices using AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, Step Functions).
• Build AI-enhanced compliance tools and RAG systems for knowledge bases using AWS Bedrock.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage containerized applications via Docker.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrations between GRC platforms, audit tools, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with the Audit Operations team to translate compliance requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in backend, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for application development and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, and Bedrock.
• Proficiency with Docker and experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Must be based in Ireland to support a hybrid work model at the Galway office.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, or prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or HIPAA.
• Knowledge of OWASP security risks and cloud application best practices.
• Previous experience in SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments.
