What you will do

• Develop and own features for a mission-critical messaging platform delivering billions of messages daily.
• Build and optimize a highly-scalable campaign pipeline for high-growth customer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on technical designs and engineering practices.
• Identify and resolve critical performance and scalability issues, including database timeouts and queue bottlenecks.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the technical interview process to maintain a high hiring bar.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering complex systems.
• Strong expertise in large-scale system architecture, patterns, and appropriate trade-off analysis.
• Proficiency in system monitoring and alerting techniques with a data-driven mindset.
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring other team members.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Dublin, Ireland for a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Django, React, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, Apache Zookeeper, or Apache Pulsar.
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, Aurora), Terraform, and Jenkins.
