TL;DR

Mid-Level Infrastructure/Backend Engineer (Infrastructure/Backend): Building and migrating a transparent, permissionless trading infrastructure with an accent on infrastructure migration, 100% IaC, and reducing latency while improving reliability and security. Focus on Kubernetes-based platform foundations, self-serve developer infrastructure workflows, and backend services in Go with Postgres and Clickhouse.

What you will do

• Migrate applications from legacy infrastructure to a new, robust infrastructure.
• Build, maintain, deploy, and manage services using 100% Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Decrease latency and increase visibility, delivering measurable business impact.
• Enable developer self-serve for deploying apps, requesting infrastructure, and monitoring/alerting.
• Develop and improve an infrastructure layer that supports engineers self-serving most infrastructure needs.
• Work on reliability and security, including thinking like a hacker and coordinating contained attack simulations using AI and existing tools.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Dagster, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience writing backend applications in Golang.
• Experience with Postgres and Clickhouse.
• Security-minded approach to reducing attack vectors.
• Ability to work on-site in New York.
