Location: Must be based in Warren, Michigan (Hybrid: expected to report to office at least 3 times a week)

What you will do

• Create and execute FEA plans for assigned projects and lead CAE suppliers.
• Develop and update FEA models using NX math data.
• Recommend design solutions to resolve performance issues with mass and cost efficiency.
• Conduct topology optimization to identify architectural load paths.
• Collaborate with SMT, validation, and safety integration teams to balance structure requirements.
• Document analysis performance and provide technical guidance to Product Development Teams.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in Linear Analysis (NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT), Quasi-Static Analysis (LS DYNA), and optimization tools (Genesis).
• Thorough understanding of material properties for CAE analysis.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with CAE modeling tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site in Warren, Michigan at least 3 times a week.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant CAE experience.
• Familiarity with UG-NX CAD and CAE tools.
