Lead Engineer - Salesforce (Salesforce): Designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions for Zurich’s digital transformation with an accent on technical leadership, integrations, and platform innovation. Focus on translating complex business requirements, piloting Salesforce features, mentoring engineers, and maintaining code quality across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Experience Cloud.
Location: Australia. Hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week for full-time employees. Applicants must have Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a visa allowing unrestricted work in Australia for more than 12 months.

What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with digital strategy.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and robust solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across coding, configuration, and integrations, with approximately 30% hands-on work.
- Pilot and evaluate new Salesforce features, including their business impact and value.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote Salesforce best practices and technical excellence.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer delivering Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
- Expert-level Salesforce development skills across Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and CI/CD concepts and tooling.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce Developer certifications and demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams.
- Experience in financial services or insurance is highly regarded.
