What you will do

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
• Translate visual designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser experiences.
• Integrate external APIs into new and existing web projects.
• Test and debug websites to ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Implement technical SEO best practices to support organic growth.
• Utilize proprietary Nova ecosystem tools to enhance departmental workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Advanced level of spoken and written English is required.
• Solid grasp of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with server administration and hosting environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards.
• Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node.
