What you will do

• Build custom WordPress themes from scratch without using page builders.
• Create well-structured, reusable content components using ACF Pro.
• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks to expand site functionality.
• Translate Figma designs into high-quality code with great attention to detail.
• Improve website performance, focusing on loading times, caching, and asset handling.
• Collaborate closely with frontend/UI and delivery teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with custom WordPress development.
• Strong PHP skills following WordPress standards.
• Practical experience with ACF Pro is a must-have.
• Solid command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building custom themes from the ground up.
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing Gutenberg blocks.
• Basic DevOps knowledge regarding deployments and environments.
• Experience working in regulated industries like banking or fintech.
