What you will do

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components, units, and wiring using various tools and soldering equipment.
• Drill and tap holes in equipment to mount control units and instruments.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and circuits to ensure operational integrity.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production problems and review work activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking by marking and tagging components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in wiring or electrical component installation or completion of a technical vocational program.
• Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills and understanding of hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks while standing.
• Must be able to differentiate between colored wires and wear required PPE.
