What you will do

• Assemble, dismantle, and test electrical and electronic components for manufactured products.
• Repair electrical equipment and clean parts returned by customers.
• Perform ground-fault and current draw testing on all electrical equipment.
• Complete assembly of printed circuit boards and wiring of panels using engineering prints.
• Operate material handling equipment, machine tools, power tools, and hand tools.
• Assist in the assembly of prototype equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma with vocational training in an electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in panel wiring, PCB assembly, or complex electrical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and electronic schematics.
• Physical ability to work in awkward positions, climb in/on/under machines, and sit for eight-hour shifts.
• Proficiency in working with color-coded cables and analytical troubleshooting.
