What you will do

• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to follow assembly instructions.
• Assemble basic electrical/electronic systems and install components, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings.
• Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from wiring diagrams.
• Check wiring for proper coding and termination; test for shorts, grounds, and continuity.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist in identifying defective materials or unusual conditions and report findings to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Completed High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in electrical assembly or a related field.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and electrical components used in industrial cabinet design.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems while interacting with teammates.
