What you will do

• Design and ship AI-powered features in SiteDocs, owning architecture from prototype to production.
• Lead exploratory work on applied LLM patterns like RAG and agents, translating experiments into production systems.
• Build internal tools and workflows to accelerate engineering velocity through AI.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to scope problems and deliver iterative solutions.
• Uphold high standards for code quality, testability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to engineering culture through design discussions and pragmatic decision-making.

Requirements

• Must be based in Australia (hired through Australian entity).
• At least 6 years of professional full-time software engineering experience, including senior-level SaaS production experience.
• Strong current experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend development experience in .NET.
• Hands-on experience with Azure.
• Proven ability to architect non-trivial systems and deliver them to production independently.

Nice to have

• Backend experience in Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience building applied AI/LLM features in production.
• DevOps and IaC experience, particularly with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Experience with mobile or responsive web applications.
