What you will do

• Design and develop secure features across a TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend.
• Build AI-powered automation and agentic workflows using LLMs such as Claude and Gemini.
• Contribute to the API-first infrastructure enabling partner integrations.
• Work across a full stack including PostgreSQL, Redis, DocumentDB, Kafka, and AWS.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Operations to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure system quality, performance, and security within a regulated environment (BaFin, DORA).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience building production systems with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).
• Proficiency in AI-native patterns: prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and agentic orchestration.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Docker.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React.
• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka.
• Background in fintech, insurtech, payments, or banking.
• Knowledge of German language.
