Applied Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Identify high-value opportunities in product, customer, and operational data.
• Evaluate ambiguous ideas and determine the fastest credible path to a useful solution.
• Build practical data, ML, analytics, heuristic, and automation solutions, then refine them based on usage and traction.
• Own end-to-end execution across data exploration, modeling, experimentation, backend integration, and productization.
• Partner with engineering, product, design, and leadership to turn ideas into shipped capabilities.
• Define success metrics, instrument outcomes, and improve solutions that support developer workflows, team velocity, and product experience.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in machine learning, applied AI, or a hands-on product data role.
• Proven experience shipping data- or ML-powered capabilities into products or operational workflows.
• Ability to work across the stack, including data exploration, production integration, and product delivery.
• Strong product judgment and ability to choose between ML, rules, analytics, automation, and workflow design.
• Strong communication skills, ownership, and ability to explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners.
• English proficiency is required.

• Experience prototyping quickly and refining solutions after launch.
• Experience building and shipping data- or ML-powered features rather than only producing analyses.
